ABOUT US
Empower Poetry is a platform designed to support and project the heavily under supported Poetry community in Birmingham/West Midlands.
This venture was identified and started through the need of the local Poetry community that Ryan Dre Sinclair is apart of, due to a lack of opportunities for Poets in the region.
Months later he was then joined by another Poet and a small team of creatives for the pilot event, This led to a year of successive successful bi - monthly events in Digbeth.
Our aim is to Eliminating Elitism, Empowering Introverts and Extroverts. Through
giving a voice back to the Spoken Word Community in Birmingham /West Midlands. Paying, Platforming and Projecting Poets.
